HELIOS Print Gallery through its online store is engaged in the presentation and sale of art prints to individual and institutional collectors as well as interior designers worldwide.

Our aim is to fully satisfy the needs of our clients and to provide a reliable and predictable service which we believe is the cornerstone of a mutually-beneficial long-term relationship. Accordingly, we describe hereafter in detail our general store policies for your review.

Condition, Warranty, Information
As is the convention with works of art, the items for sale on the online store are without exception considered used items. They are in a state that corresponds to their age and provenance. Potential buyers may request by email clarifications on the status of an individual work of art only prior to a sale. In all cases, the actual state of the work of art at the time a sale is made is an agreed condition for purposes of the sale.

All information contained in the description of the items is based on the general knowledge that has been available up until the date of the listing for sale. HELIOS Print Gallery acts as commission agent for the sale of art prints on its own behalf and on behalf of its clients and artists, whose identities shall remain unknown or aliased, as may be the case for certain Artists the Gallery represents.

All Sales are Final
All sales are considered final.

Purchase Price, Payment
The Buyer must pay the final total price, plus all applicable charges, commission, insurance and shipping charges. Invoices issued after the sale must be verified by the Buyer.

Payment of the total amount due must be made by the Payment alternatives specified in the online store. All taxes, costs and fees are to be borne by the Buyer. Payments must be made to HELIOS in US Dollars.

Shipping
The Gallery will take all great care to ship the print to the Buyer. HELIOS shall organize the insurance and shipment of the work of art to the Buyer only after the receipt of full payment for the item and at the Buyer's cost and risk. Unless otherwise specified, all prints are shipped unframed. The Gallery will ship the items to the address specified by the Buyer in the Account creation or Shipping process. A delivery confirmation by the shipper will serve as proof of receipt by the Buyer and will conclude the transaction. Please be careful to provide an address for shipment which is secure for you.

Returns
Except as described below under Shipping Damages, no returns are accepted.

Shipping Damages, Notification, Verification, Replacement, Charges
In the rare case of Shipping Damage, the customer agrees to notify the Gallery and arrange for the immediate shipment to the Gallery of the items, within two business days of receipt of the items, using a shipping method equivalent to that used in the original shipment. Upon receipt of the item, the Gallery will inspect the items for said Shipping Damage and, if confirmed and at its sole discretion, will either ship a replacement print (generally in the case of non-vintage prints) or reimburse the items' purchase price (less original shipping and other applicable charges).

If the returned items are substantially in the state in which they were listed in the original sale, the Gallery will not provide any refunds whatsoever. If the Buyer wishes the items be returned, the Buyer will have to settle all new related charges in advance, including all applicable new shipping charges as well as an additional Handling Fee of $150.00 per print. Any such print remaining unclaimed after one year will revert in ownership to the Gallery at no compensation to the original buyer.

Accordingly, please be very careful to review or enquire as to the state of Vintage Prints before buying. While they are all in generally good condition, the Gallery cannot accept any returns for any reasons other than material shipping damage.

Hold for Shipment
HELIOS shall under no circumstances be liable for loss of or damage to items that a Buyer may request, as may happen from time to time, for HELIOS to hold for shipment. Any such items not collected or shipped remains the risk of the Buyer and, if unclaimed after two years, will revert in ownership to the Gallery at no compensation to the original buyer.
